Kristie Cole

Chief Philanthropy and Humanitarian Affairs Officer

Kristie has devoted her 15-year career in international affairs to building coalitions at the intersection of government relations and philanthropy, brokering deals to fund and mobilize vital rescue and relief missions around the world.

Mission-driven, Kristie uniquely specializes in activating global connections and resources for humanitarian efforts that improve and save the lives of those in critical situations, such as operations related to the conflicts in Israel/Gaza and Russia/Ukraine. Kristie is close to the US military and veteran communities, and in 2021, successfully funded and mobilized resources to evacuate over one thousand from Afghanistan to safety.

Recognizing that “government doesn’t always get it right,” Kristie believes that in an increasingly globalized and complex world with diminishing public trust and the waning effectiveness of traditional government; corporations, private philanthropists, academia, NGOs, and non-profits are critical to achieving and maintaining peace and prosperous economies. Kristie asserts that non-state actors can gain access to the spaces and places where governments cannot go, and in some cases, at a speed that governments cannot achieve.
